So for Spring Break, Brandon and I went to Sedona with our friends Sara and Andres. Andres' parents have a time-share there so it was a pretty sweet hookup! On the way there we stopped at Montezuma's Castle. It was pretty cool but there isnt really much to see there execpt the 2 castles in the rock. Its worth it though because you always drive past the sign on the way up north and you've just gotta see it atleast once in your life! Next, we stopped at the Church on the Rock. Its exactly what its called.. a church in a rock! Pretty neat!
Then we went shopping around the touristy areas. We bought some prickly pear candy. mm! Haha. Then the next day we went hiking and found some vortex areas. Ok I looked up what exactly a vortex is so here you go...."they are believed to be spiritual locations where the energy is right to facilitate prayer, mediation and healing. Vortex sites are believed to be locations having energy flow that exists on multiple dimensions. The energy of the vortexes interacts with a person’s inner self." We didnt really feel much there other than the fact that being on the rocks is really pretty and peaceful. Maybe thats what they're getting at? :-p Then we stopped at slide rock and rested a bit. That was pretty much it, just a relaxing few days.
