Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Brandon and I went to my grandparents house for dinner. Some of my other relatives were there too. My grandma was really excited about our engagement and had to take a bunch of pictures of us so I posted some below :-) She always gets me sparkling cider for holidays too (so thats what we're drinking. haha). Its cute because my grandma doesnt have any blood-related grandchildren. She's actually my step-grandma but I know her the most because she's awesome and my other ones live in Wisconsin and Florida. She just had one daughter of her own who is about 30 somethin years old (my step aunt) and she isnt married yet. But anyways, Im her only grandaughter so its pretty exciting and special to her! Some people also wanted to see better pics of my ring because the other one is blurry so here its.. :-) Ciao

Our Exciting Weekend

(this is Karli..) So last weekend we decided to go on a mini vacation to Utah. Our old friend Denny just moved to Sandy (i think), by Brighton mtn to basically just snowboard and invited us to come stay. Brandon also called up 2 of his friends from his mission and asked them if we could visit too, so we ended up staying at all 3 of their houses. It was a lot of fun. The drive up was pretty.. When we finally arrived in Provo, we had planned to go straight to Provo Canyon. So Brandon drove us up the big moutain. It was about sunset so we thought it would be a perfect time. We got out of the car and started walking on a trail to find a quite spot with no people and a rock to sit on. We could see the lake, city, and he pointed out the MTC and other places. Then he said he got me a treat because I got him this bracelet a few weeks ago. I didn't think much of it. Soo we sat down and he pulled out a box of See's chocolates! He got me one of my favs.. peppermint. mmm. So anyways, I started to eat one then he said.."here's a special one for us to split". It was a little gold sees box that was inside the big one. I opened it and it was a ring! Then he shared some things with me, got down on his knee on the rock, and proposed! I heard that his grandpa proposed the same way to his grandma. :-)

The next day we spent with Stewart, who also went to Uruguay. He took us around Temple Square and then the mall. We attemped to go to the Salt Lake after to see the Buffalos but they were about to close. We ended up seeing the Bee Movie later that night.. it was funny haha. Then the next day we went to Dennys. We got some pizza and drove up the Brighton mtn to play in the snow. Its been forever since I've seen any, it was so pretty up there! It makes me sad we live in this boring state. Then we stopped at a lodge and got some cocoa because we were freeeezing. The next day we left for home. We stopped in this funny cowboyish town to get lunch and went in a thrift store. Brandon found some slacks and I got a bunch of vinatge records . They are sweet! Im playing Cafes of Paris right now.. haha :-) Well, thats all the news for now. I want to go back to the snow next month..maybe in Flag.. who's down?!
