Last week we went to Cali for a few days to enjoy the last few days of summer just before school started. We went to Balboa Park, Little Italy, Sea World, Fashion Valley Mall, the temple, and La Jolla. It was soo much fun we could have stayed twice as long! Some of our friends met us up there and stayed with us too, but we pretty did our own things. Balboa was fun..we walked around and went in the Museum of Man. There was egyptian and evolution artifacts and other stuff. In Little Italy we had a yummy Italian pizza dinner with desserts after and the BEST Iced Chocolate drink everrrrr. Sea World was quite the adventure too. Very busy and hott, but thanks to Shamu we got a lil wet :-) It was also exciting because we pet and fed the dolphins.. now only if we could have swam with them, darn! The next day we visited the Temple and took some pictures. Very beautiful! Then we were off to La Jolla my dream town! We relaxed on the beach, looked at the beautiful homes that we are going to live in some day (hehe!), ate some delish lunch and gellato, went shoppin and to a bakery. Coincidently we ran into our friends there that were staying with us who were there to scuba dive. That would be really fun to do that next time! We still have another day pass for Sea World, so if anyone is going in the next year Brandon and I are down for going again!

It looks like you had a wonderful time. I enjoyed all of the pics. Was that great great great great grandpa Neanderthal on your mother's or my side? Thank-you for posting in hi-res. It was fun zooming in.
what a fun trip, i am jealous! swimming with dolphins is amazing - you will have to do it some time.

How fun! San Diego is one of our fav places, too, and La Jolla is definitely my dream town! Did you guys go to La Jolla Cove? So beautiful! Theres also an aquarium a few miles away that we went to on our trip last time... you guys will have to visit there next time you go! I loved all the beautiful pics! We love all those places you went too! How did you like Atlantis at Sea World? We'll have to show you our picture of Chris and the kids on that ride next time you come over. Everyone but Maddy loved it!
wow i'm jealous! i wanna go to la jolla! i love it there! and the temple is sooo pretty there, i've never been there either!

Looks like you two had a great time! Yes, La Jolla is beautiful--with many beautiful homes. I love southern California . . . it would be nice to live there, wouldn't it?! . . . so many fun things to do! The Sea World photos brought back some good memories of when we were last there as a family . . . a long time ago!
